WAC Board Meeting
November 28, 2006

This was the first meeting with the three new board members – Jaynette Rittman, Tonia Zimmerman and Tim Iversen. All board members went around and introduced themselves. Ray Scheve gave the new board members a history of the board and the board’s activities.

Confidentiality agreements were passed out to the new board members to be read and sign.

This year the board plans to ask player’s parents to serve on committees to help the board with the work that needs to be accomplished this next year.

Officer & Director roles were decided for the 2006-2007 year:

President - Ray Scheve

President-Elect - Lucy Tennant

Treasurer - Beth Potts

Secretary - Tara Inghram

U10 Directors - Tim Iversen & Perry Young

U12 Directors - Jaynette Rittman & Lucy Tennant

Tournament Directors - Lisa Giudici & Tonia Zimmerman

Fundraising Directors - Lisa Giudici & Tonia Zimmerman

Equipment Director - Perry Young

Communications Director - Tara Inghram

The tentative dates for the 2nd Warrior Annual Classic Tournament are May 18-20, 2007. Lisa & Tonia will check with the city and school for field availability.

The need for insurance was discussed. Tara motioned for the WAC to purchase D & O Liability insurance. The motion was seconded by Perry. Approved by all board members. Tara will look in to the costs for General Liability insurance.

Fundraising was discussed. Tonia & Lisa will bring recommendations to the board next meeting regarding what these funds should be used towards.

Future board meetings will be held on the first Monday of each month. The board will meet more frequently when needed.
