WAC Committee Meeting
April 2, 2006

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Waukee Tournament Updates

It was determined that Friday night games will be needed with the number of teams in the tournament for the 10U and 12U divisions. The 8U division will not be a part of this tournament because of lack of registrations.

Ray & Andrea will be the Tournament Operations Co-Directors

Perry & Lou will head up the Field Crew

Lisa & Tara will head up the Concessions

Beth & Lucy will head up Set Up / Tear Down / Garbage Crews / T-Shirts / First Aid

Perry will inform the Waukee police of our event since the Menace will be holding games at the same time nearby.

Banners - The teams who have sponsors will have banners. They will be about $104, and measure approximately 3’ x 6’. One inch lettering, with reinforced holes.

Scrapbooking Fundraiser - Raised about $2,200 for the WAC program. It is planned to hold this event again in the fall.

Visors - 60 visors have been ordered. The coaches are to pay Jen for them.

WAC Field at Waukee Elementary - Tara will post a sign at the field informing the public of the WAC team’s scheduled practice times, and to refer to the WaukeeSoftball.com website for other times the field may be reserved by WAC teams.

Tournament Email - Tara will send out an email to all WAC parents with tournament & helper information.
